Idled about wuxi
The new building of the Museum of Wuxi (Province of the Jiangsu, to
the East of China) covering 6.9 hectars has been inaugurated Wednesday
October 1st with an exemption from payment of one week during the days
off of the gold week.
Situated to the south of the famous Lake Taihu, this new building
welcomes, besides the Museum of Wuxi, two other collections museales
that is the permanent exhibition on the Revolution in Wuxi and the
Gallery of the science. The fact to associate to the Gallery of the
science allows the Museum to present the history of the region by
extensively more elaborate audiovisual means.

money.
Open originally in 1958, the Museum of Wuxi has a collection of more
than 30 000 pieces of which about hundred being part of the national
cultural Heritage of Category I (equivalent of the French national
Treasures). He is also specialized in the paintings and Chinese
traditional calligraphy: the region having benefitted from a cultural
impetus importing since the 13rd century, it remained today one of the
richest in the domain of the traditional culture.
This opening is accompanied by a free exhibition of Chinese seals of Li Lanqing, former Prime minister attaches in retirement.
